We are Mike and Laura and, along with our 2 young children, we enjoy living in the Loess Hills of western Iowa. Mike grew up on this very homestead, while Laura, the granddaughter of a Welsh sheep farmer, was born and raised in England. Having lived and traveled extensively, in recent years we returned to the area and bought the farm when Mike’s parents were ready to move on.
We quickly decided that we preferred not to spend so much time on the lawnmower and purchased our first flock of Katahdin sheep in the summer of 2019. We have since increased our flock size and are happy to be able to offer our pasture-raised, grass-fed lamb for sale locally.
